Abroad Writers Conferences is announcing our Writers Short Story competition. First Place: Winner will be a guest of honor at any of our Writers Conference and Writing Workshops. You'll also have your short story published in the literary journal, "Driftwood", plus your work will be read by an agent. Value: $2,250.00 (prize does not include airfare) Second Place: 50% discount on our conference fee, plus your work will be included in "Driftwood" and your story will be read by an agent.

Judge: Anne LeClaire author of "Leaving Normal". Short Story Entries must be: unpublished, 5,000 words or less, double spaced, and postmarked by March 15, 2007--we have the right to extended the contest if we don't receive enough applications.

Send $20 (check, money order or Visa) per story for entry fee with a self-addressed stamped envelop, with your email includes along with a cover letter for notification. Winners will be notified by April 15, 2007.
